Repentance Prayer

PRAYER - Invite Jesus into your life and prepare you for heaven
Creator God and Eternal Father I acknowledge You as my Lord! 

Jesus Christ, my Redeemer, I praise and worship You. I believe You died on the cross of Calvary for my sin. I believe You rose from the dead and are seated at the right hand of the Father. You redeemed me with Your blood and I am Yours. I want to live for You alone and I want to be ready when You come again to take me to You. 

I stand guilty before You, Father and others for my sinful way of living and my faulty actions. I confess my sins and shortcomings. As Your child I now come to You with a contrite heart asking for forgiveness. Wash me in the blood of the Lamb, and I shall be whiter than snow and no sin shall longer count against me. I thank You. 

I forgive every person that has ever wronged me in any way. Protect me against the evil one. Holy Spirit, show me any hindrances in my life that will stand in the way of fulfilling the Father’s will in my life. Arouse in me a willing spirit and equip me, o Lord, with obedience at all times to obey the call of Your voice. Use me in Your Kingdom and grant me Your grace.
